Staff Experience Council

Mar 30, 2023

The Nucleus Staff Experience Council are working to shape the thinking and advancement of Nucleus' initiatives.

"Let them build it, and all will thrive."

This week, we officially launched our Staff Experience Council! Our Council is comprised of 13 Nucleus employees from all roles, programs and years of experience.  Collectively, the team can speak 25 different languages, were born in 10 different countries and together form over 100 years of experience with the organization, making them the ideal subject matter experts to drive the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion work plan.

Although the Council reports to Nucleus' Board Committee for improving provider work-life, they will have a tremendous impact on the client experience as well, having already conceptualized an innovative way to engage with clients with language barriers through language cards.

The Council plans to meet every month to lend their unique voices to share and discuss practical solutions to areas of concern as well as advise on our annual initiatives. For example, this week they focused on employee wellness and strategized not only on which areas within the eight domains of wellness to prioritize, but what specific activities staff want to see. The next steps are to design a wellness calendar with scheduled activities that support our mobile, community-based workforce.

We look forward to sharing the Council's progress!
