Our community continues to see a rise in respiratory illness, which is why, Nucleus is reintroducing mandatory masking for our staff for every interaction with clients. Mandatory masks for every visit, every time, takes effect on Monday, October 2, 2023. Many of our staff have continued to wear masks since we moved to a mask friendly environment in the summer. This will be once again be a standard of care. 

The safety of staff and clients is always at the forefront of our decision-making. We closely follow the advice of our local Infection Control and Prevention (IPAC) Specialists. We know masks play an important role in preventing the spread of respiratory virus, such as COVID-19. We also know that vaccines prevent severe illness and encourage you to book your annual flu shot and COVID-19 booster through your family doctor or local pharmacy.
